WG aims and objectives

  • Modelling issues in relation to Risk Assessment
  • Long-term Risk Assessment issues for materials in use
  • Implement regulatory strategies/road maps for Risk Assessment

Recent activities

  • Modelling issues in relation to toxicity of nanomaterials was discussed at the cost Modena td 1204 in November in Malaga, Spain. The meeting assembled participant from a large number of EU projects.
  • Long-term Risk Assessment issues for materials in use, has been worked upon in ongoing EU projects e.g. SUN
  • Implement regulatory strategies/road maps for Risk Assessment, this work is in progress.
  • Work to be coordinated with the US-EU risk assessment activities
