Dear NSC community,
Task Force on Pillar 2/ FP10
You will have seen that the NSC has established a Task Force being led by Sean Kelly of the Nanotechnology Industry Association (NIA), to prepare a policy statement that can be used to argue the case for the European Commission to continue to support projects through Pillar 2 and continue to invest in the research of the safety and sustainability of nano and advanced materials.
To help in the development of the policy position that the NSC will take, it would be useful to bring together the evidence of the impact that previous funding has had. Some of the evidence will be compiled by the NSC centrally, but it would be good for projects to provide some evidence on the impact that they have had. The evidence gathered will be used in two main ways. Firstly, the data will be compiled to show an overall case for the impact that NSC projects have had. Secondly, individual projects will be highlighted as examples of what has been achieved in NSC projects.
To help the NSC in preparing its policy statement, it would be good if people who have worked in projects funded through Pillar 2 of H2020 and Horizon Europe could complete this spreadsheet and provide the data requested where relevant.
Please, enter your inputs in the Excel before Friday, 17 January 2025.
If you have any questions, please contact sean.kelly@nanotechia.org, with info@nanosafetycluster.eu in Cc.
Many thanks,
Sean Kelly, on behalf of the NSC Task Force
