AVISO for the 2nd ELIXIR Toxicology Community workshop in December 2024

In December 2024 the ELIXIR Toxicology Community will organise, as part of their Implementation Study (INTOXICOM), a 2nd workshop.

The workshop will consist or two parts:

• Part 1 of the workshop focuses on documenting how research output can be made more FAIR. For this the workshop will introduce the concept of the FAIR Cookbook recipe and start writing the content of one or two recipes relevant to toxicology and this implementation in particular.
• Part 2 will focus on using existing tools to manage research output. Specifically, we will write DS-Wizard templates and focus here on the use of ontologies like EDAM to annotate research output and registering of the output in the suitable ELIXIR platform.

Expected outcomes of this 2^nd workshop include model templates for: (1) software, such as predictive toxicology solutions for EOSC and bio.tools; (2) scientific models, such as AOPs, PBPK, and QSAR models.
